Happy Birthday Emma Watson!

Happy Birthday Emma

Just a quick update to wish Emma Watson happy birthday on her 23rd! I’ve been a big fan of her for years now and am very much looking forward to seeing the results of her teaming up with Sofia Coppola in The Bling Ring (pictured) later this year. Be sure to check out the trailer below if you haven’t already!

  1. I didn’t know it was her birthday! Happy Birthday Emma!!
I didn’t realize Bling Ring had a trailer yet, either. Thanks for posting it! Looks interesting..

    1. Yeah I don’t quite know what to make of the trailer. I’m looking forward to seeing a longer one nearer the film’s release date. I’ll be seeing this one regardless of its trailers though!

  2. I’m looking forward to The Blind Ring.

    1. Here’s to hoping that it’ll be good!

  3. I still need to see her post HP role, but glad to see her film career is going strong!

    1. It certainly is! I was worried for a time that she wasn’t going to pull through into other movies, but she seems all set now 😀

  4. Happy birthday, Emma! I love her 🙂

    1. 😀 I can understand that!

  5. Happy Birthday, Emma!

  6. Oh, why you go put the video up of her looking all sexy?! Now I’ve got those special feelings again.

    1. Haha, I know exactly what you mean 😀

  7. Is she seriously 23?? In my mind I think she will always be about 12. Lol!

    1. I know! She is doing a fair bit to distance herself from Hermione with her recent role choices though, whether that’s intentional or not. If she continues the way she is going then I reckon she will soon have created enough of a wide ranging career so as to be more than ‘the girl who was in Harry Potter’. I really hope that this film is a big success for her!

      1. I don’t love all her performances. I think she has a tendency to overact.

        1. Did you see Perks of Being a Wallflower? Did you like her there?

          1. I saw it and thought it was relatively good. I really didn’t like her performance though. I thought it was so over dramatic – there are other ways of showing an expression than frantically raising your eyebrows.

        2. I haven’t seen it yet, it’s queued up in my rental list as we speak. I’ll keep an eye out for those eyebrows!

  8. This new film of hers, the Bling Ring… It’s something like Spring Breakers (i.e teenagers gone wild), isn’t it?

    1. Yeah it seems so. The Bling Ring is based on a real event nicknamed the ‘Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch’ where a group of teenagers broke into several celebrity’s homes over a period of time and stole expensive clothing etc before being caught. According to Emma Watson Coppola’s script isn’t judgmental of these people, instead it just tries to depict them honestly – the good and the bad. I have fairly high hopes for this one!

  9. She’s awesome! Happy belated b-day Emma!

    1. She certainly is!

  10. Looking forward to checking out Bling Ring. The amount of pre-release hate for that film sort of caught me off guard.

    1. Yeah same for me, but I’m staying hopeful for it!
