And This Month’s Silhouette is…

Mystery Figure

Nite Owl (Patrick Wilson) from Watchmen!

So April was somewhat surprising; it brought in a record number of guessers, and the silhouette that I thought was one of the toughest so far seemed to present little challenge to a large number of you! As always it was fun seeing all your different guesses come rolling in, so thank you for playing this month and be sure to come back tomorrow for May’s edition!

Just as there was a record turnout, there was also a record number of correct guesses, with sixteen of you guessing correctly! So well done to all of these people:

Brian from Hard Ticket to Home Video
Cinema Train
Committed to Celluloid
Film Police

The Filmster
Flights, Tights, and Movie Nights
The Focused Filmographer
Keith & the Movies
Let There Be Movies
Marked Movies
Natalie P
Sanclementejedi from 3 Guys 1 Movie
Terry Malloy’s Pigeon Coop

I hope you all enjoyed this month’s quiz and that you’ll come back tomorrow!

Thanks for playing!

16 people with excellent taste!!!!!!!!!! (17 including you for putting him out there!!) Can’t wait for tomorrow!

    1. Haha, thank you πŸ˜€
      Have you read the book?

multiple times – I think that’s why “most” people don’t get this – because they’re not familiar with the source material – this movie is excellent… if you’re a fan of the book….

        are those prequels out yet??

        1. Oh yeah, it has to be one of the best adaptations ever! I saw the film before I read the novel (which I regret now), and I thought that it was good. Then I went away and read it, once I came back to the film I was much more immersed in it and marveled at how it simply lifted entire sections from the source material straight into the film.

Yeah I think so, I believe they came out last year. I can’t see the point in them though, other than as a cash in. The original text just feels so complete.

I still think it’s Rumsey in a devil costume

    1. Haha, perhaps so. Perhaps I am Nite Owl…

  7. Watchmen is one of my favorite movies so this was a easy one for me. Cant wait for the next one.

    1. Great!
And yeah, Watchmen is a fantastic film!

    1. Nice job guessing this one!

  8. I am on a roll! LOL

    1. It’s too late for May’s entry, but for the next month I’m going to be scheming and trying to think of something that will throw you!!

      1. LOL! Bring it!

        1. Alright!!

  9. I so did not get it.

    1. Well to be fair they look very similar. I think it’s fair to say that Nite Owl is intended to resemble him somewhat.

  10. Damn I was way off.

    1. I don’t think so. I suspected that several people would pick your guess as they do look similar.

  11. WOOT! WOOT! πŸ˜€

    1. Ha ha πŸ˜€

  12. Boom! Nailed it!

    1. Nice one!
