  1. Just read your post, it was great. Ripley is such a kick ass character played to perfection by Sigourney Weaver.

    1. Cheers Vinnieh! She really is a fantastic character isn’t she? I love Meryl Streep, but I’m glad Weaver got the role!

  2. Awesome piece, man! Ripley is a hell of a character! Love her, and also loved that you name-dropped Marge from Fargo, and of course, Beatrix Kiddo and Raimunda! I too find myself really drawn to great female characters like them. Hermione Granger and Katniss Everdeen are other more recent examples.

    1. Thanks a lot man! That’s nice to hear. It makes sense that you would appreciate me name-dropping Beatrix and Raimunda! I think that a strong claim can be made that Hermione is the best character in those films/books. A great role model for sure.

      1. Definitely, and also my favorite HP character πŸ˜‰
        Again, great piece.

        1. Cheers πŸ™‚

  3. Great choice. Ripley kicks ass! I LOVE a strong female character. πŸ™‚

    1. I’m glad that you agree about Ripley, she is just such a great, well written and strong female role!

  4. Wait she is fictional? excellent choice!

    1. Ha ha I’m glad she is fictional because otherwise Xenomorphs would surely be real too! Thanks man!
