Thank you for joining me. Your upcoming film, Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, is coming out. Can you let the readers know what it is going to be about, and what role you will be playing?

Well the film will be out fairly soon. It is basically following Sienna, who is played by Tracey Birdsall. It’s a really cool film because it’s a little different than your average science fiction. A lot of science fiction films tend to focus on, you know, a lot of action, and that kind of thing, and while there’s plenty of action here, there’s actually a really great story where you’re following Sienna’s character throughout the film and everything that she has to do while she’s battling robots. It’s basically an AI takeover. So, it’s a really cool film. I’m really excited to see how it turns out. The teaser is actually out on YouTube, so people can watch it there and get a feel for what the film will be like.

My character is Rhianna. She comes in partially through the film and just adds a little spice to the film. If you’ve seen the teaser at the end then it will give you a little bit of an idea of what my character’s like.

I did see the teaser, it looked like a lot of fun! Was it really fun to make on set?

Oh yeah, it was a blast! At the time of filming we were having a crazy heat wave like, just like we’re having in LA right now, it was kind of the same last year but we were out in the middle of the dessert, so it was hot. We had such a great cast and crew, such chemistry and camaraderie. It was a great time on set.

So, Neil Johnson’s the director. He’s an experienced director with a lot of films and other projects under his belt. What was he like working with?

He was so great. He’s definitely what I would like to call an actor’s director. He knows how to speak the language and get your best performance without too much hassle. He did such a wonderful job making the set relaxed and fun. He’s truly a class act to work with.

How did you get the role, and were you intrigued right away once you heard about it?

I was fortunate enough to be able to read the script before the audition which doesn’t happen very often. So, I loved the script right off the bat. I thought it was fun, funny, sexy, and action filled. I thought it had everything that would be a blast to work on. I think I was the very first girl to audition for the role, and it worked out! So, it was very cool.

You’re an up-and-coming actress, kinda brand new. Is there any actor out there working today that you look up to or strive to be?

Yes, there is definitely a lot of actresses that I really look up to. I think Meryl Streep is my defining figure when it comes to actresses, and I love Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black. She’s one of my favourite actresses. She is able to embody so many different characters, and she does them so well and seamlessly. I love every accent and character that she takes on. I love Robin Wright from House of Cards, Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones, and Anne Hathaway is someone who I have looked up to for a very long time. So, that’s my good little list of people I really like.

Those are some great choices. They are some of my favourites as well. So what would your dream role be as an actress?

You know, I feel like I really want to do a little bit of everything. So it’s hard to say. I always joke that one of my biggest dreams is to be a Disney princess. I want to be able to voice a Disney princess or be in one of the live action films one day. I’m just so obsessed with them.

Lately, I’ve kinda been on this kick of wanting to take on roles that really have meaning and purpose, so that is something I am looking for at the moment.

Well thank you very much for joining me. Are there any up-coming projects from you that we should be looking forward to?

Yeah! Well a teaser just got released for a web series I’m in called Bad Sex w/Good People. It’s on YouTube via SceneGirls TV, and Last Life is a web series that I’m doing, and it will be out very soon. I know they are doing little teasers on YouTube as well.

I also have a feature called Los Angles Overnight. It’s a film noir and will be running in the film festival circuits this year.

Well we’ll definitely be looking into those. I wish you all the best, thank you very much for joining me.

Absolutely! Thank you very much for your time. It was great talking with you.
